How may I reserve my position as the next available tiny home build?

To secure your position for our next available build, you will need to provide a $5,000 (non-refundable) deposit fee.

Once your deposit fee has been made, your reservation will be set in our calendar, and we will begin drafting your building plans to your unique visions. For all other questions regarding payments and timing, please reference our Purchase Process page for more information.

How many tiny homes can you build at the same time?

At Spindrift Homes, we build one tiny home at a time.

We funnel all of our care, craftsmanship and expertise into each individual home from creation to completion. This is the heart of Spindrift Homes. With over 400 man hours of construction put into each tiny, you can rest assured that your home is receiving all the love that it deserves.

Is there a warranty included with my tiny home purchase?

Yes. You have 7 days after the tiny home is in your possession to make sure that everything is working at peak efficiency. Spindrift Homes will then apply a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the delivery date of the tiny home that includes defects in material and craftsmanship, mechanical defects, and structural integrity failures. These are the sole and exclusive remedies available under the 1-Year Limited Warranty.

If your custom tiny home on wheels needs warranty service, please contact us at spindrifthomes@gmail.com during business hours, and we will make arrangements for warranty work or inspection.

Where can I park my tiny home?

If you don’t own your own property, there are many other options available to those seeking a space to live in their tiny home.

All of our homes are NOAH certified, which grants them access to all RV parks throughout the country. There are also a growing amount of landowners who are excited to rent a space on their property to tiny-home dwellers. This is how our own tiny home dream began!

To learn more about tiny home living and finding support around your local dwelling regulations, check out The American Tiny House Association for resources and information.

How much does a tiny house weigh?

A Spindrift tiny home usually weighs 8,000-12,000 pounds.

We have every custom tiny home on wheels professionally weighed before it is shipped to you. We use the highest quality materials available, which can sometimes make things heavier. However, we are always working towards lightening the load by researching and accessing top-of-the-line lightweight building materials that are available on the market.

How long will it take for my tiny home to be built?

A typical Spindrift tiny home takes just 2 to 3 months from beginning to completion!

However, if there are specialty items that need to be pre-ordered for the build, extra time may be needed. We promise to always work with peak efficiency and integrity in mind while building your home.

Do I need permits to drive and park my tiny home?

No, you do not need a permit.

Every Spindrift tiny home is built to NOAH (National Organization for Alternative Housing) standards. At 8.5’ wide and 13.5’ tall, your Spindrift tiny home can legally be towed anywhere in the United States.

When parking your tiny home in a more permanent fashion, we suggest checking in with your local county laws about zoning regulations and restrictions.
