Meet Bijan, our founder, contractor and tiny home designer.
Bijan has crafted tiny home designs for over a decade.
Growing up in Leucadia, California, Bijan spent most of his days surfing and building. As an adult, Bijan worked in construction in New York, Seattle, and Northern California, becoming a master of all trades he was assigned to.
While he was putting in the time to help build lavish new homes for families that would soon have a seemingly never-ending mortgage payment, he realized this life wasn’t for him.
Bijan’s dream of being a custom tiny home builder was born.
He envisioned a life where he could enjoy the freedom of exploring new places, enjoy the outdoors, live humbly, and also experience the splendors of owning a beautiful place to call home.
The first tiny home.
Bijan and his wife, Sarah, built their first custom tiny home while living on the Redwood Coast of Humboldt.
This first home became their first model, The Westhaven. Bijan quickly began building his second model (The Joshua Tree), and then came the formation of Spindrift Homes!
Spindrift Homes was brought to life!
Spindrift Homes has since proven to be an amazing outlet to express the couple’s creativity, artistic visions, visionary design ideas, and effervescent energy.
After a long summer road trip of searching for the perfect new home, they fell in love with Bend, Oregon, where they now currently operate Spindrift Homes together and enjoy the splendors of their ever-growing family.
